For people that
have little time and their physical capacity is shortened. This is
the short version of the famous and amazing Inca Road, We will start
our walking at the 104 km, at a moderated altitude of 2500 m.
Through a tropical forest we will visit in the road the magnificent
ruins of Wiñay Wayna (for ever young) During the walk we will enjooy
a snack, after we will continue towards the Inti Punku at 2650
meters above sea level, from where we will watch an impressioning
sunset and then we will continue towards the town of Aguas Calientes
where we will haver the overnight. The next day early we will start
the visit to the city of Machu Picchu and at the afternoon we will
return to Cusco by train.
Day 1: CUSCO,
MACHU PICCHU
Pick up fromthe
hotel to the train station (5_45 a.m.) Then we transfer by train up
to km. 104, watching pinturesque landscapes. Right away we will
begin our walking visiting immediately the Archeological Group of
“chachabamba” (2250 m.a.s.l.) Two hours after a walk of ascending,
we will be at Wiñaywayna (2650 m.a.s.l.) considered as the most
beautiful construction inside the Inca Trail, continuing our walking
we will get to Intipunku (Sun Gate) from where we can appreciate the
panoramic view of the majestic Machu Picchu. Finally we descend the
mountain to get to the same archeological complex of Machu Picchu (not
rerun) following we will descend by bus towards the town of Aguas
Calientes, where the spring falls can be optionally visited.

Day 2: MACHU
PICCHU – CUSCO
After breakfast,
we go up in the first bus to the archeological complex of Machu
Picchu to enjoy the dawn and the sun rise upon the magic city,
during the morning we will have a guided tour through the most
important sectors of the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Return to the
town of Aguas Calientes, to then after the lunch, go on board to the
train for returning to the city of Cusco. Transfer to the hotel.
